King’s College London is inviting applications for a Research Associate position within the School of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Medicine & Sciences. This exciting role is part of Professor Cathy Shanahan’s team, focusing on innovative research into vascular calcification.

Position Details and Responsibilities

The appointed Research Associate will contribute significantly to:

  • Investigating key regulators of vascular calcification.
  • Testing novel treatments aimed at this condition.
  • Collecting and analyzing data.
  • Presenting research findings at scientific conferences.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • A PhD in a biological discipline.
  • Experience in tissue culture, cell biology, and animal models.
  • Desirable skills include spatial or single-cell transcriptomics, bioinformatics, and high throughput screening.
