RMIT University in Melbourne is inviting applications for Vocational Education (VE) Teachers in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration trades program. These roles are available as fixed term, ongoing, and casual positions located at either the Melbourne CBD or Bundoora campuses.

Role Responsibilities

VE Teachers will have a range of responsibilities including:

  • Delivering course content effectively
  • Assessing and supervising students
  • Contributing to course development and the enhancement of teaching methods, including online learning delivery

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Possess relevant industry and vocational teaching qualifications, or be actively pursuing a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116)
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have experience in competency-based assessment
  • Bring industry knowledge and relevant trade qualifications
  • Clear Working with Children and National Police Checks prior to appointment
