The University of Vienna is offering an exciting opportunity for a University Assistant Predoctoral position in the Faculty of Chemistry, starting September 1, 2025. This 4-year role combines innovative research and teaching, focusing on the didactics of chemistry. The successful candidate will engage closely with students in various educational settings, including an out-of-school lab, and will contribute to advancing modern chemistry education.
Key Requirements
- A diploma or master’s degree in chemistry education.
- Experience in teaching or educational research.
- Fluency in both German and English.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a research project.
- Write a doctoral thesis within 12-18 months.
- Independently conduct courses for students.
- Participate in publications and academic presentations.
- Assist with administrative tasks.
