Sydney Analytical is inviting applications for the position of Professional Officer in Cultural Heritage. This is a full-time, fixed-term role lasting 12 months, offering a competitive base salary starting at $99,455 plus 17% superannuation.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing and supervising technical operations in the Cultural Heritage node.
- Focusing on portable vibrational spectroscopy and X-ray instruments.
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring workplace safety.
- Supporting research and training activities.
- Building strong relationships with cultural heritage stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Advanced knowledge of vibrational spectroscopic equipment and data analysis.
- Cultural sensitivity related to heritage materials.
- Experience working in galleries, libraries, archives, or museums.
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia (visa sponsorship is not available).
