Exciting Research Assistant Professor Role Available at Hong Kong Jockey Club Global Health Institute, Pok Fu Lam

The School of Public Health in Pok Fu Lam, Hong Kong, is currently inviting applications for a full-time Research Assistant Professor position at the Hong Kong Jockey Club Global Health Institute. This is a two-year contract role, with potential renewal subject to funding availability and performance, commencing as soon as possible.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Possess a PhD in biological or medical sciences.
  • Have post-doctoral research experience in virology, microbiology, or immunology.
  • Experience with flow cytometry and evaluating neutralising antibody responses following infection or vaccination is desirable.
  • Demonstrate strong quantitative and qualitative research skills.
  • Show a proven track record of research achievements.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

  • Lead immunological studies on responses to vaccination and viral infection.
  • Manage research projects funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.
  • Supervise junior research staff.
