New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) is offering an Exciting Post-Doctoral Research Opportunity in the Division of Engineering under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Murat Uysal. This position is based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and focuses on groundbreaking research in wireless communication systems, particularly targeting 6G and beyond technologies.
Eligibility and Requirements
Candidates applying for this role must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or related disciplines.
- Strong foundation in communication theory, signal processing, and wireless communications.
- Expertise in physical (PHY) layer algorithm design and performance analysis.
- Proven publication record in IEEE journals and conferences.
Preferred Research Experience
Applicants with experience in the following areas are highly encouraged to apply:
- Waveform design for emerging spectrums such as FR3, MMW, sub-THz/THz.
- Extreme massive MIMO communications and beamforming architectures.
- Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces and machine learning applications for wireless communications.
- Hardware-constrained signal processing and channel modeling.
