The Department of Urban Planning and Design at the University of Hong Kong, located in Pok Fu Lam, is inviting applications for 1 to 3 Post-Doctoral Fellowships specializing in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Large Language Models (LLM). These full-time roles are set to commence as soon as possible, with potential renewals based on performance and available funding.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading innovative research projects
- Developing LLM-based BIM checking platforms
- Writing grant proposals
- Publishing research findings
- Mentoring students within the department
Selected candidates will work under the guidance of Professor Jun MA as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Eligibility and Qualifications
- A PhD in civil engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence, architecture, or related fields
- Proven publication record in relevant research areas
- Experience with BIM tools such as Revit, IFC, and ifcopenshell
- Expertise in AI and LLM technologies including, but not limited to, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), knowledge graphs, code generation, and multimodal AI
