The University of Sydney in Australia is currently hiring a Manager, Global Research Engagement for a full-time 12-month fixed-term position. This role offers a competitive base salary of $156,277 plus 17% superannuation.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will lead initiatives to enhance the university’s global research partnerships and reputation. Reporting directly to the Director of Global Research Engagement, the manager will:
- Build and maintain strategic international partnerships
- Align activities with the university’s global strategy
- Support international partnership strategies
- Manage official visits and global network participation
- Lead a team of professional staff
- Enhance the university’s global rankings
- Foster cross-cultural collaboration in research
Key Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Postgraduate qualifications with a research background
- Experience in international diplomacy or higher education engagement
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia
- Working with Children Check clearance
