King’s College London is currently inviting applications for a part-time Lecturer position in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy at its esteemed Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN).

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching on the Graduate Certificate and MSc Family Therapy programmes.
  • Contributing to systemic psychotherapy teachings across the IoPPN.
  • Supervising groups alongside the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should be Family and Systemic Psychotherapists registered with the UKCP and:

  • Have significant clinical experience within NHS or social care settings.
  • Demonstrate strong expertise in systemic psychotherapy.
  • Show a strong commitment to equality and inclusivity.

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Approved Systemic Supervisor (AFT).
  • Experience with remote learning methodologies.

Position Details

  • Employment type: Part-time (50%-60%).
  • Salary: £53,149 to £59,136 (pro rata), including London Weighting.
  • Location: The department will relocate to the new Pears Maudsley Centre in 2025, combining clinical and academic excellence.
