The University of the Pacific in Stockton is seeking a full-time Director for its Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). This pivotal leadership position spans 12 months with an annual salary ranging from $130,000 to $140,000, overseeing CAPS operations across campuses in Stockton, Sacramento, and San Francisco.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and supervising CAPS staff
- Delivering clinical mental health services to students

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or related fields
- At least five years of supervisory experience
- Preferred qualifications include a doctoral degree and California licensure
- Experience in higher education mental health settings is highly valued
Additional Information
The Director will report directly to the Assistant Vice President for Health and Wellness. The role requires moderate travel between the campuses and availability for after-hours support.
