Edith Cowan University (ECU) in Joondalup is excited to announce a leadership opportunity for the position of Vice-President (Engagement). This is a full-time role offered on a 5-year fixed-term contract, designed to shape the university’s external profile and foster strategic partnerships during a dynamic period of growth and development, including the launch of the new ECU City campus in Perth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the university’s engagement strategies, including marketing, communications, student recruitment, philanthropy, alumni relations, and partnerships.
- Collaborate directly with the Vice-Chancellor to drive institutional goals and external presence.
- Manage and inspire teams to effectively navigate change and enhance stakeholder engagement.
Candidate Profile
- A visionary leader experienced in higher education, government, or the non-profit sector.
- Expertise in public affairs, strategic communication, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to foster an inclusive environment and align with ECU’s values of integrity, respect, innovation, and inclusiveness.
