The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the School of Clinical Medicine in Pok Fu Lam, Hong Kong, is currently seeking applicants for the position of Senior Research Assistant, with the functional title of Resident Genetic Counsellor. This is a full-time role starting as soon as possible for a duration of one year, with the possibility of renewal depending on funding and performance.
Key Qualifications and Experience
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in a biomedical or healthcare-related field
- At least one year of post-qualification experience in medical genetics
- Experience in genetic counselling is an advantage
- Fluency in both English and Chinese
- Strong leadership, management, coordination, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in teams
Responsibilities
- Providing genetic counselling to patients
- Contributing to research projects in reproductive medicine
- Performing other related duties as assigned
