Charles Sturt University is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Identity Lead to join their team in one of several regional locations, including Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, or Wagga Wagga, Australia. This is a full-time, fixed-term role until October 2026, offering a competitive salary range of $113,948 to $128,980 per annum plus 17% superannuation. Additionally, flexible and remote work options are available to accommodate your preferred work style.

Key Responsibilities

As the Digital Identity Lead, you will:

  • Lead the transformation of the university’s existing Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.
  • Ensure secure and modern digital identity services for students, staff, and the wider community.
  • Drive innovation and improvements in digital identity management technology and practices.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Strong qualifications and extensive experience in IAM systems.
  • Hands-on expertise in tools like Okta, Entra ID, SailPoint, or equivalent platforms.
  • Software development skills and experience with upgrading legacy IAM systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
