CogStack, an award-winning platform specializing in Electronic Health Record (EHR) data, is hiring a Clinical Data and AI Integration Analyst. The role is based in London, working with prestigious NHS Trusts such as King’s College Hospital and Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will support and maintain data extraction pipelines using CogStack tools for linking clinical data securely and ethically to enhance healthcare research and patient care.
Position Details
- Type: Full-time, fixed-term contract until November 2027
- Salary: £53,149 to £57,566 (including London Weighting Allowance)
- Location: London NHS Trusts
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively on ETL workflows and custom data routing technologies such as MedCAT and CogStack-NiFi
- Perform data quality assessment
- Support secure and ethical clinical data linking for research and patient care improvements
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python or Java
- Experience with database systems like PostgreSQL and SQL Server
- Knowledge of healthcare data governance
- MSc or equivalent experience in computer science, data science, or health informatics
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within the NHS
- Familiarity with clinical Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Understanding of interoperability standards in healthcare data
