Role Overview
The Chief Audit and Assurance Executive will be responsible for leading the university’s internal audit and assurance functions. Reporting directly to the University Secretary and Director of Assurance, the role involves:
- Developing and implementing internal audit services in line with professional standards and the CUC Higher Education Audit Committees Code of Practice
- Collaborating with senior leaders and the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee
- Embedding a robust Board Assurance Framework
- Aligning audit strategies with the university’s objectives
