The Global Phosphorus Institute (GPI) is seeking a Research Scientist to lead innovative projects on non-agricultural uses of phosphorus. This opportunity is based in Benguérir, Morocco, offering the chance to work in advanced sectors such as materials science, energy storage, water treatment, and environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute research projects focused on new phosphorus applications beyond agriculture

Qualifications and Skills
- PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years post-PhD experience in phosphorus chemistry or advanced materials
- Strong problem-solving abilities and creativity
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Experience with water treatment, energy storage, or sustainable phosphorus management is highly preferred
