The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), a globally renowned institution with over 85 years of excellence, is currently seeking a Vice President for Knowledge Transfer.
About the Role
This strategic leadership position reports directly to the Senior Vice President (Research and Innovation) and entails:
- Leading knowledge transfer initiatives
- Overseeing technology commercialisation efforts
- Managing entrepreneurship programs
- Fostering partnerships within Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland, and the Greater Bay Area
The objective is to enhance the university’s impact on both society and the economy through these efforts.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Hold a postgraduate degree or equivalent qualifications
- Possess proven leadership experience in knowledge transfer and business development
- Have familiarity with Hong Kong and Mainland China
- Demonstrate strong communication skills in both English and Chinese
- Exhibit a visionary leadership approach
