New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) is currently inviting applications for an exciting Post-Doctoral Associate position in the Division of Engineering, specializing in Electrical Engineering. This role is supervised by Prof. Dr. Murat Uysal and centers on innovative research related to the physical layer design of wireless communication systems, particularly focusing on 6G and beyond technologies.
Key Qualifications
- A PhD in electrical or electronics engineering, telecommunications, or related fields is required.
- Strong expertise in communication theory, signal processing, and wireless communications.
- Significant experience in physical layer algorithm design and performance evaluation.
- A proven publication record in IEEE journals and conferences.
- Excellent English communication skills.
Preferred Research Experience
- Waveform design for emerging spectra.
- Extreme massive MIMO and beamforming architectures.
- Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces.
- Machine learning applications in wireless communications.
- Hardware-constrained signal processing and channel modeling.
