Australian Catholic University (ACU) and Metro North Health Queensland are seeking applications for the Professor of Nursing role. This is a unique joint appointment based at ACU’s Brisbane campus and The Prince Charles Hospital in Chermside. The position is full-time and fixed-term until June 30, 2028, with a possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading research, scholarship, and teaching to enhance student experiences

- Serving as the link between ACU’s Faculty of Health Sciences and The Prince Charles Hospital
- Developing impactful nursing research and translating evidence into healthcare improvements
Essential Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Nursing
- Registration with AHPRA
- Strong record of high-quality publications and research leadership

Remuneration and Benefits
The remuneration package is valued up to $259,969 (pro rata), which includes:
- Salary of $220,723
- 17% superannuation
