Position Details
- Duration: 2 years full-time
- Annual Salary: $123,435 plus 17% superannuation contribution and annual leave loading
- Location: Wallumattagal Campus, Macquarie University, North Ryde
Role Overview
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with experts in Philosophy and Biological Sciences to develop a unified framework linking evolutionary transitions in individuality and cognitive architecture.
The research will focus on exploring cognition across various organisms, including studying innovative model systems such as bee colonies.
Candidate Requirements
- A PhD in Philosophy of Life Sciences
- A strong publication record in Philosophy of Biology or Cognitive Sciences
- Proven ability to conduct interdisciplinary research
