Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), a prestigious Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU), has officially announced its recruitment drive for Junior Executive positions in 2025. This initiative is aimed at diploma holders in various engineering disciplines, offering them an opportunity to be part of HPCL’s Refineries Division. Vacancy Details and Eligibility
The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 63 vacancies across five engineering disciplines:
- Junior Executive (Mechanical): 11 vacancies (Diploma in Mechanical Engineering)
- Junior Executive (Electrical): 17 vacancies (Diploma in Electrical Engineering)
- Junior Executive (Instrumentation): 6 vacancies (Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering)
- Junior Executive (Chemical): 1 vacancy (Diploma in Chemical Engineering)
- Junior Executive (Fire & Safety): 28 vacancies (Science Graduate with a Diploma in Fire & Safety)
Salary and Age Criteria
Selected candidates will receive a salary ranging between 30,000 and 1,20,000 per month, depending on experience and job performance. The upper age limit for applicants is 25 years as of April 30, 2025. However, age relaxations are available as per government norms:
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years
- OBC (NCL) candidates: 3 years
- PwBD (UR) candidates: 10 years
- PwBD (OBC-NCL) candidates: 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST) candidates: 15 years
- Ex-servicemen: 5 years (for those who served at least five years in the Armed Forces)

The process includes registration, filling out personal and academic details, and uploading required documents. The application fee is 1,180 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are exempted from the fee. Payments can be made online via Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking.
Selection Process
HPCL will conduct a Computer-Based Test (CBT) as the first stage of the selection process. Shortlisted candidates will then proceed to Group Discussion (GD), a Skill Test, a Personal Interview, and a Pre-Employment Medical Examination. Final selection will be based on overall performance in all these assessments.
